1, 6, 15, 31!
1: What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?
I drove halfway across the country on my own multiple times. Considering I didn't even really start driving until 2012 (I got my license in 2009 but was always so paranoid about actually driving)... it was a huge deal, okay.
6: What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013
A Masters degree and a job, lololol.
15: What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My internshipppppp. But also having the chance to visit college friends in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. After a rough first year of grad school, it was exactly what I needed.
31: What kept you sane?
Tumblr?? Except we're all insane on here, aren't we...

YOU ARE VERY CLOSE KEEP GOING
sometimes I worry that everyone gets really annoyed with my complaining about school and my ~woe is me~ posts, but then you guys send me nice comments like these and it makes my soul happy :) I DON'T HAVE FOLLOWERS ON TUMBLR, I HAVE FRIENDS
[cue sappy uplifting music]
I agreed with your tone argument thing and knew you meant to argue against that and not necessarily for the boycott. No hard feelings, I just wanted to make sure that point was addressed.
Yes, I know. But intent doesn't matter much when my commentary could very easily be construed to equate not participating as a lack of human decency and it could have hurt people. Thank you for speaking up.
PS Should I play dragon age? Is that something I should be doing? Which one should I play? How do I shot web?
Hmmm. I haven’t played Dragon Age Origins (the first one), so I can’t say for sure which you should start with. It sounds like a lot of gameplay things have been simplified for the second one, but that hasn’t been a problem for me. Seems like DA2 is set up kind of like Mass Effect, and I'm cool with that. Also the game repeats several areas, keeping the exact same map for different places but blocking off some doors in each so they aren’t quite the same. There are some references to Origins in the second one, but it isn’t a direct continuation so it still stands on its own. (I had to look up a few things, like what the heck is an Apostate anyway, but it works.)The main complaints I’ve heard about DA2 involve its differences from Origins. It’s shorter, you can’t choose your character’s species/backstory, the world you explore is considerably smaller, the choices you make have fewer deep ramifications, some of the character personalities have changed, etc. Still, from my perspective the story is fun and I like the characters so I’m going to say yes, it’s worth playing. And if Origins is really that much better, then I suppose it’s for the best that I get to enjoy this one on its own merits. Based on my meager knowledge, I would say to get Origins if you only plan to get one, but if you think you’ll play both then maybe start with DA2? But then the graphics in Origins might not look as appealing. Hmmm. I’m probably not the best person to give advice on this. ^____^
Tulip, Zinnia, Locust, Azalea
Tulip: For your birthday, what kind of cake do you ask for?
I AM GENERALLY PLEASED WITH ANY KIND OF CAKE. Growing up, I always got my birthday cake every year from this one local bakery and it was usually just white with buttercream frosting (and some ~cool design~). Simple yet delicious. But I love cake and will eat whatever cake you put in front of me. So. Gimme cake.
Zinnia: Who was your best friend when you were six years old?
My friend Kyla—we became friends in first grade and then her family moved to Tennessee. But my family visited hers every year for like, I dunno, five years? We drifted apart, as friends do, but yay for Facebook for letting me stay updated on her life.
Locust: What was your favorite book as a child?
Oh my goddd. I have no idea. I’m just gonna go the easy route and say Harry Potter because yeah. (Kyla actually introduced me to the series, so whooo!)
Azalea: What’s a movie you cried while watching?
I’m gonna admit: I’m not a huge crybaby when it comes to movies. I get shivers and goosebumps, I might tear up a lot, but it takes a lot to get me to cry watching a movie. (Songs, though… I’ll bawl my eyes out listening to music.) The only movie I can think of that I actually cried watching was The Reader.
