I’m from Argentina, and right now I’m trying to finish up my master and working two jobs to get food on my family’s table, and yet it’s not enough. I know my actions are probably more than enough for me to feel strong, but there are days I simply can’t hold it. I have a three year old daughter and a husband who also works all day long, and we get help from our family to look after Isa everyday, but not being close to her makes me sad.
Wayward Daughters is a place I can relate to other women’s struggle and learn that I’m not the only one, and that everything I do is a sign of strength, and that me myself is enough. That I’m worthy.
Wanna know why I want a t-shirt? Because when I’m not online, I forget about that. When I’m out there in the real world I don’t get to feel like I’m worthy or capable. I only feel tired and a bad wife and a bad mother, because I’m not there, and having a physical reminder that non of that is true, would be awesome.
