Fictional Characters

I was tagged by my bestest WILLOW!!! @geeklibrarian - my Wills!! <3 

Describe myself with three fictional characters. This - is hard... but here goes...

I do this on a very regular basis - usually at work... I may not be as tough or drink as much as Jessica Jones, but her sarcasm and penchant for being left alone - very me.

Yep, I’m going there. I identify with so many of Dean’s traits... This one, the pretending to be fine even when I’m not - that’s a biggie. Also his childlike pleasure in simple things, his geeky side, his loyalty to friends and family.

Molly Weasley - I’m a hugger, I tend to ‘adopt’ people :) and I care very deeply about my friends and family. (Also, the “Not my daughter, you bitch!” is completely me if someone attacks my friends/family in any way.)

I’m sure I could add more, but the game asked for three :) Not tagging anyone, because I think almost everyone has already done this - if anyone wants to play, feel free (and tag me so I can see it :D)

Hey guys, I’m slippin’ another blog rate in. I did this dumb thing, where I replied privately, but Mel was kind enough to reply online so I could grab her details and add them to my 1.5K Masterlist.

I’m from Argentina, and right now I’m trying to finish up my master and working two jobs to get food on my family’s table, and yet it’s not enough. I know my actions are probably more than enough for me to feel strong, but there are days I simply can’t hold it. I have a three year old daughter and a husband who also works all day long, and we get help from our family to look after Isa everyday, but not being close to her makes me sad.

Wayward Daughters is a place I can relate to other women’s struggle and learn that I’m not the only one, and that everything I do is a sign of strength, and that me myself is enough. That I’m worthy.

Wanna know why I want a t-shirt? Because when I’m not online, I forget about that. When I’m out there in the real world I don’t get to feel like I’m worthy or capable. I only feel tired and a bad wife and a bad mother, because I’m not there, and having a physical reminder that non of that is true, would be awesome.

Rant in Spanish under the cut, so yeah...

ARGHHHH! Esto es de no creer!

A mediado de dicienbre me compre la 10ma de SPN en Amazon. Supuestamente llegaba el 21 de enero. Yo use un gift card de 25 dolares y tuve ke poner encima 8 dolares. Todo bien ahi.

Llego el 21 de enero y el pakete no llego. Hago el reclamo y me dicen ke espero al 6 de Febrero. El 7 hago el reclamo, y la mina ke hizo la repocision me lo manda expedited por UPS. Supuestamente tenia ke llegar el 16 de febrero. En la factura de amazon no aparece precio ni nada. Todojoya pense.

El miercoles me llega el mail de UPS ke el pakete esta aca, pero como falta la autorizacion de AFIP, no me pueden mandar.

Hoy voy a la AFIP a sacar la puta clave fiscal. Deci me como tenia turno web, solo tuve ke esperar 2 horas (con aire acondicionado, gracias a dios).

Llego a casa para hacer el formulario con los datos, y la pagina era un kilombo para entender. Despues de media hora de espera, me atienden y me explican donde encontrar el formulario.

Lo lleno y lo mando.

Recien me llega el mail de UPS de ke el pakete esta para envio, y me veo esto:

I’ve reached that time of the year (almost Summer in the southern hemisphere) where pretty much EVERY neighbor makes a BBQ. It’s like they are plotting and they take turns so EVERY FRIGGING NIGHT there’s this yummy smell coming through my window.

Act II

1. Goal

Sam: I need to placate Dean’s anger since he’s upset that I ate all the pie with Cas.

2. Method of achieving goal

Sam: I will talk about all the ways that I suck while perfectly imitating the eyes of a very sad and adorable puppy. This will induce objection, followed by sympathy. If necessary, I will run away for forever to prove how seriously sad I am that we have to disagree. During this time, I will drink pumpkin lattes and charm cute baristas. I will also eat more pie. Then I will return home in two to three days. Upon my return, I will bring a pie with me to present to Dean during our tearjerker reunion in the car. Unknown to him, it will be slightly stale. I will have purchased one past expiration on purpose. Because perfect jerk.

3. Other characters

Cas: --has been vomiting for hours. the depths of an angel-inhabited vessel’s stomach are as deep and dark as a demon’s eyes on a cold winter’s night. he no longer likes pie. in fact, he will rebel against pie and the makers of pie in the near future.--

Dean: I am going to scrub my testicles with his toothbrush for the next three weeks. Minimum.

4. First sentence
