however, FULL DISCLOSURE I am terribly unprepared for this and haven’t given it much thought (most of the songs I’ve been listening to lately are either instrumental, abstract, or in a language I don’t understand) so I haven’t really paid attention to what might be ~fenders~. but last week on a long drive I was listening to the postal service album and the perfect fenders song jumped out at me!

it’s one of my favorite songs and I think it perfectly captures these two individuals who want nothing more than to leave their past (or present) behind and start anew, free to be their own person, finding solace and understanding (and love) in one another 😍

I’d eventually like to do this with more songs but the only other ones that come to mind right now are sad and more one-sided/unrequited love type songs and I’m not in the mood to angst right now lmao

SHYNESS
