OOC: He’s still struggling with the loss of his Hunter’s Pair and feels that emptiness daily. It’s not necessarily depression, though he falls into it more easily than some, it’s struggling with feeling empty and like half of him is quite literally gone.

“I’m not unsympathetic but I guess I’ve been told I’m a bit brash at times. I just need things to get done the way they need to be done and if something’s getting in the way of that apparently I lack some patience and empathy. It’s always a work in progress, though, I don’t think I’m a complete dick about things, though.”

RUBY: a happiness headcanon

“I think one of the happiest memories I have growing up is this one time Dev and I decided to skip school, she was in middle school and I was just starting high school. Dev had started being able to shift into birds too and we skipped and flew all the way to the Hamptons. Our parents were pissed, sure, but it was one of the moments that made me really genuinely happy to be a Vale and to have Dev with me.” @devcnvale

“I think having a healthy balance of both is a good thing in all areas of life. Sure, I like a nice black tie event that lets me dress up as much as the next girl but being able to throw on a pair of sweats and pass the fuck out on the couch is great. I like a nice dinner but nothing beats 2am bodega snacks. So it just depends but whoever says you have to pick one clearly hasn’t learned how to have both.”

Hematite: how squeamish my muse is

“I mean, considering the nature of my animal forms, things don’t really make me squeamish. I mean, seeing a lot of blood and gore isn’t necessarily my idea of fun but I can still function.”

Unakite: what my muse's ideal pet would be

“I’ve never liked the idea of pets really, I wouldn’t want someone to keep me. When I started being able to understand animals more, going to the zoo stopped being fun as well and more depressing than anything.”

OOC: When Addison is angry, she usually rolls her lips together and will have a somewhat sarcastic laugh, as if disbelieving the situation. If she laughs when she’s angry, you know you or the situation’s pissed her off.
