I didn’t go to college for 3 reasons.

I didn’t want to put the financial strain on my parents or/and immediately go into debt myself.

I had absolutely 0 idea what career I’d want to pursue.

There was no chance I was ever going to take a math class again and also be made to pay for it! Fuck you. No.

So far I haven’t regretted not going. Especially since I still have 0 idea what I would want to study.

“Here, a present to remember while you’re working” He faintly remembered the small Xaelan woman hand him a small gift box as he was leaving for the Shroud and a job for the Adventurer’s guild. He had been wondering what she had left for him, but she had specifically instructed him to not open it unless he needed a pick me up; And with how slow it had been to help build and guard the budding chain of observation posts being built throughout the Shroud to it’s border to Ishgard and the Observatorium. He was slumped against the tree he had decided to call a proper post to sleep again, scratching at his stomach while he held the box in his free hand. Popping it open he almost let the small magitech-taken photo flutter away before he caught it. He was always amused by these things, it was amazing to capture a moment in time like this so easily. Eyes scanned the photo for a moment before he realized what she had left him, a sigh leaving his lips as he let out a low groan. “Damnnnn.” he muttered to himself, noting every curve and scar on her body as he had explored them before. His eyes darted to his surroundings, confirming the others were still doing their part of the night watch or already sleeping before a hand snuck beneath the hem of his pants. Yeah, she sure had given him something to remember her by until he got back.

Howard was once drunk and shot the family dog who was protecting both Maria and 9 years old Tony. Ironically it’s also the first time Tony saw a living creature die and just what violence can do to somebody… espeically his mom and he couldn’t do anything to stop it.
