-= 1 =-It was routine by this point, really. For both of them. Sleepy domesticitymade their movements sluggish while the morning light framed theiractivities. Coffee, Toast, Eggs for Perry and Yogurt for Elliot-- maybea crossword if time permitted while they shared silence. But eventuallyElliot would have to trudge upstairs to change, and Perry would clearthe dishes. It never took very long, and just before he was gone forthe day there was the usual exchange --"Love you, be careful, bye." anda quick peck to start the day.
-= 2 =-It was rare indeed that Elliot felt like just stopping for a while. He sighed,blinked over at where Perion was reclining on the couch and slowly madehis way over. It was only with the nonverbal communication that camewith being in a relationship for a while that Elliot stood in front of her. Perry's blue hues flicked up to him curiously, and she didn't protest whenhis hand found her shoulder, and just gently pushed at her. He pokedand prodded until she was laying on her back, and Elliot had found a spot cuddled across her chest and legs. He sighed, content, and Perrysmiled. "Comfortable?" Elliot only hummed, craned his neck up to leave a lingering kiss on her lips.

There hadn't been a lot of blood, but enough to make him worry. Elliot'shands shook as he patched her up, but not nearly as much as Perion'sentire form was, and his steady stream of comforting coos had taperedoff. With the last bandage taped off there was nothing else for him todo, no other way that he could think to sooth her panicking form exceptto take her face between both of his hands and fix his mouth over hers.Just long enough for her to ground herself-- to remind Perion that hewas here, and that she was alive, and that everything was going to be alright.
