And there the princess was, in what would probably be her most vulnerable state. Bruised, beaten, and shaking. A small whimper of pain was let out from within the blanket nest. Who'd did this to her was unknown, but that wasn't really the important thing here. She was in pain, and the quiet whimpers soon turned to muffled sobs.
