al-haitham wasn't one to advocate for violence normally, but azar deserved every bad thing that could ( and should ) come his way. he wasn't entirely sure what magic the woman possessed to even have the ability to turn people into other objects or creatures, but he was just glad he wasn't on the receiving end of it. the thought of the former grand sage being scared for his life, on the verse of being turned into a stone, brings a smile to his face.
