Summer Scents Keeping Your Memories In Check | Memoize
Nothing brings life again to a forgotten memory like fragrance - Quote of the day. I feel as though i am going to start off this post, much like my last one. However, lol... I remember when Paul and I first were talking - i had told him how my 8 year old brother Brandon, had the hugest stash of cologne. Much inspired by my dad ! They both can be quite heavy handed when applying it, and has just kind of become the running joke amongst some of my family members. Little did i know Paul was the exact same way... What have i gotten myself into ? lol. ( ps. you can watch a little video here, of the first time i saw Paul squirt himself with over 28 sprays of cologne... Yes, you read that right ). Although i come from more of the philosophy that less... is often more when it comes to fragrances. I have noticed that in this country people loveeee their aftershave. I don't know if it comes from the fact that - the natural surrounding of greenery and flowers are SO fragrant. I literally have never smelt anything like it before. I LOVE walking through parks now, and just taking a deep breath in. But although i think less is more when it comes to my perfume, i do want it to be quite a statement fragrance. I don't know if it is stated anywhere, but Memoize can be used as a unisex fragrance, as i mentioned Paul is a bit of a Cologne enthusiast ( there may be an upcoming blog post in the works about it *stay tuned* - but i think he is more obsessed with the scent than i am. Although my first impressions of it, was that it was quite sweet - that due to the Top note being Cassis, and raspberry, as it dries down, you will start to smell some Ylang Ylang, Tuberose, & Muguet. And once it is fully dry, which is my personal favourite part of the fragrance - it almost becomes creamy and you can really smell the base notes of Vanilla, Amber, Musk, and Suede leather.
It is such a beautiful floral fragrance, and is an Extrait De Perfume, which I typically love over a de Eau de Toillet ( I find it just lasts longer this way ).
