He had wandered across it completely on accident. 

Just one, small, out of place stone that seemed so fascinatingly out of place, that he couldn’t help but press it out of curiosity. For it to lead into an entirely new area of the castle...! Well, it was too exciting to ignore. Even if, upon entering the room, he was left completely clueless as to its features. 

Some things he recognized, though. Throwing axes and cards which read your fortunes - both things you could find around Ishgard. Perhaps not in the same way, but it could be found. 

It seemed like most of these games were to be done with two or more people - so better to find someone to enjoy them with! It took only a moment to spot someone who seemed to be on their own, approaching with a smile and a small wave.

“Are you looking for someone to partner with for one of these activities? Quite honestly, I didn’t expect so see something like this at a soiree but...it seems fun, does it not?”

no amount of newly awakened affinity for social graces could prepare a man for so much ACTIVITY at once. despite caring far more than usual about the other citizens of this wretched city, there's far too many a soul for his newfound empathy to WRESTLE with, an overwhelming amount of thoughts and feelings rushing through his veins. he sits back from his vantage point, sinking into a chair just barely large enough to ACCOMMODATE his berth. though the worst of his sharp personality has been dampened by the mask he adorns, he is not often approached, as though it is well known that he is a predator, a MONSTER in human-shaped flesh.

so he is content as usual - to simply watch the passage of life. he's perceptive, even now, DESPITE the changes he's undergone. if anything, his perceptiveness has only grown SHARPER, with the ability to clue into emotions as sharp as a dagger's edge. an unusual, different set of skills compared to the simple wariness he's known for. a tilt of his great skull, ganondorf resting his chin upon a balled fist, gaze FLUTTERING over the wandering soul. ❝you might not want to go in there. it is noisy and someone of your size is most likely to be TRAMPLED.❞
