Cassinga/Airborne Memorial Parade - Sunday, 5 May 2013
REMINDER
On Sunday, 5 May 2013, commencing at 10.00am, the Cassinga/Airborne Memorial Parade and wreath laying service will be held at the Museum of Military History ( formerly the War Museum), Parktown (near the zoo). All guests are urged to be seated by 09.45.
Those wishing to lay wreaths to please bring their wreaths and to report either to myself, Tommie Lamprecht or Sean McDonough by no later than 09.00.
This annual Parade and Service is to honour all fallen Paratroopers and Special Forces members who have passed away in combat, on operational duty, as well as post service.
The Wall is a living Memorial for those who gave their tomorrow that we may have our today.
Gentlemen to wear Regimental blazers, medals and berets, or to be neatly attired.
All MOTHS and Veterans who served are also cordially invited- dress code as per above to be observed- those wishing to lay wreaths are also welcome.
PLEASE INVITE EX-SERVICEMEN, EVEN IF THEY WERE NOT SF OR BATS- EVERYONE SERVED!
