I wish I could say it again
Why can’t time transport me to the moments when the unfathomed was said.
Instances where you would grab me, kiss me, and call me wonderful.
At a standstill when I gasped the second you took me as yours.
On occasion you let me steal your breath, thank you.
I’ll keep every scar your teeth branded me time and time again with your name.
Marked your territories on the areas of me,
to be no man’s land for anyone else who dares.
Forced me to breathe you in, even more so the release of ambrosia.
Sweetest syrup pales to no comparison of your taste.
I still wear your scent from when our sweat mixed,
leaving the glistening with pride, head raised high.
I smirk when stared at,
since holding the knowledge that my favourite reason to say no when asked,
every now and then looks at me with those heart melting eyes, and smiles.
Reminding me those lips once spoke “I love you”, and I got to say “I love you back”.
