Memory Beast is a socially engaged art piece that reinforces the importance of experiences with nature in identity formation while helping to establish a baseline for what "nature" actually is and means. Participants "write any memory that happened in nature" on a tag, then use a T-pin--a tool of the taxidermist--to pin it to an animal.
