         they realize a beat too late that they’ve been staring for probably a bit too long at the other person. they should probably look away, or say something -– even just a hello or introduce themselves –- since the other probably thinks they’re being weird, or creepy, or all of the above. ( probably all of the above. ) instead, ashei leans forward, reaching out and grabbing at something in their hair. showing the other the small creature now on their finger, they gesture towards their hair again.
