I haven’t been this area in ages!!!! Wow. Near by Hilton Hotel where I stayed the first night in the States ever!!!!! Of course I have been to this area often after that, I worked nearby. Don’t forget, restaurant #Menchanko-Tei on 55th Street. Godiva on the Fifth Ave. Mark Cross on Fifth.... all those stores and restaurants are gone.... but my fist breakfasts in the States ever was at Astro Diner ... still there.... (at New York, New York)

After having a few good bowls at Menkui-Tei, I figured I would try this other hyphenated place in midtown closer to my wife’s office. She had been here before and said it was good, but this day we both had sub-par bowls. The broth was a little bland and watery.
