Paul Lahote x Male!Singer!Reader Headcanon: His Imprint

-You met Paul when he, Sam, and Jacob came to the coffee shop you were playing a gig at. 

- as soon as you two met eyes there was an ‘oh fuck’ moment amongst the three wolves. Not because you were a guy but because they now were going to have to explain werewolves and imprinting to you, a person they haven’t even formally met yet. 

- Paul was able to chat you up when you took a break and even managed to get your number for a date the next. 

- thought it was because he played it off cool but in reality he was coming of dorky which you liked better. 

- “I think I pulled that off in a cool manner.” Paul said confidently. “ As someone who is telepathically connected to you and watched the entire time I can confidently say that you did not.” Sam said. 

- On your first date with Paul he decided to show you the town of Forks from the eyes of a local by taking you to all the best places in forks to eat. 

- You two had unintentionally spend the entire day together but you didn’t complain. You were having the time of your life. 

- After about a month of dates and talking you had wondered why Paul hadn’t asked you to become something more serious; however, this was only because Paul wanted to confess that he was a werewolf and that he imprinted on you before the two of you were in a serious relationship. This was so you could have all the information before you two moved any further.

- Paul was absolutely dumbfounded (and so was the rest of the pack that was listening in via pack telepathy) when you hit him with the “Oh, I already new that.” 

- “Y-you knew and you weren’t afraid to be with me?” “No, not really, I’ve always been a dog person.” You joked before ruffling up his hair. 

- You explained to him that you were a seer, nothing especially powerful but you could basically the true nature of all things. which basically meant that when you first saw him you already knew that he was a werewolf. So you were already familiar with the supernatural. 

- Just like that you were apart of the pack and your chilled layback nature was a welcome change for Leah and Emily who you got along with well with. 

- When you all would hang around the campfire you always get roped into playing a song or two.

- You rarely argue with anyone but when you do the pack find it pretty entertaining.

- “Play Piano Man!” “Embry that is the 13th time you have asked me to play that song shut the fuck up! I don’t listen Billy Joel!”

- For a Christmas gift Paul had made you a music shack with the help of the other boys. It wasn’t big but your boy Paul did his research and mad sure it had all great acoustics and even bought a bunch of rugs that they used in recording studios. 

- You ended up using the shack as a place to teach other pack members how to play instruments like the guitar and piano. 

- Though Paul is very protective of you you are just as protective to him as well so you ended up becoming skilled with a rifle and shotgun. You named the ones you got Daphne and Buffy. When Paul ask the significance of those names you looked at him like he killer your mom. 

- “Sara Michelle Gellar? Daphne Blake and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” “Vampire Slayer?!... I’m going to have to look up that one.” “I’ve already added it to our Netflix watchlist.”

- You don’t really hate the Cullens you just don’t like how they talk to the pack so you prefer they keep their distance. 

- Later down the line you two decide to make one of those tiny house/van hybrids and go on many little adventures together. Sometimes other pack members will come along, like sometimes it’s Sam and Emily, sometimes it’s Seth and Leah, but most of the time it’s just the two of you. 

- If you and Paul ever get into a fight Paul just takes you to a record store and just lets you run wild with his debit card. That usually always works.
