She found out that ALL the decisions he made were the result of his girl pal’s input. How did she know? He wanted her, last minute, to seat girl pal at a table with some people and when she said no, fiancé Jack (we’ll call him) storms off. She rushes after him and hears him on the phone with Bella (girl pal) who says, “threaten her - tell her you’ll call off the wedding”. AND, Jack does exactly that. So my friend plays along incredulous, but responds in the negative. Jack returns (after another call with Bella), to say, “let’s take a break”. My friend says ok, and eavesdrop on a phone call where Bella tells Jack to storm out and he does. My mouth was hanging open.
