Wyatt Daniels, the shy vocalist of Hyperinflated Illuminations, cannot stand disorder. Everything needs to be in its place, clean, and untouched. If someone has moved something so much as an inch, Wyatt knows. Wyatt has OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder – an anxiety disorder characterized by intrusive thoughts about cleanliness, organization and re-checking. Wyatt hates this disorder. If there was one thing he worked at, it was hiding the efforts he went through on a daily basis to keep his mind calm. It was a losing battle against himself.

Recovering from an eating disorder is not easy. Recovering from one while on tour is even harder. Vina Leigh is the underweight, confident bassist for Hyperinflated Illuminations; an up and coming band currently on tour with the likes of All Time Low, Forever The Sickest Kids and Good Charlotte. Her addiction to writing down everything she has consumed on a daily basis keeps her sane. Her ability to lie through her teeth about eating was killing her. It only takes one comment for a recovering anorexic to fall back into old ways and that one comment happened weeks ago. Vina Leigh was off food and this time, she told herself, it was for good. Alex Gaskarth has not been able to keep his emotions in check around Vina since he met her on the plane at the beginning of tour. She was beautiful, confident and had great taste in music; at least from what he could tell by sneaking glances at her iPod while she ignored him. He could not help himself; he wanted her. But the more he tried to get her attention, the more she ignored him and the more she seemed to loathe him. The real loathing came when he commented on her weight and Vina started spiralling downward. Masking his emotions and annoyance the only way he knew how – drinking – Alex’s drinking problem starts to get out of hand. So much so that other people were starting to notice.
