The trees were tall and thin. They towered over you as you walked under them and through the pockets of shade. Birds chirped in the distance and the leaves of the trees rustled in the wind. The long blades of grass swayed ever so gently and brushed up against the side of your boots as you walked, some green and golden in color underneath the bright light peeking through the canopy above. On sunny days like this the forest was peaceful and its colors could really shine come summer or autumn. If only your path this year would lead you through conflict-free forests such as this.
