This smorgasbord of a menu is from the 1885 grand opening of the Chicago Board of Trade building. It was torn down in the late 1920s to make room for the building that remains there today.

Menu Monday 10/20

  It’s Monday again & that means it’s time to share my weeks menu! 

Meal 1; Chili & Grilled Cheese Meal 2; Spaghetti Meal 3; Chicken & Dumplings, Carrots & Homemade Bread Meal 4; Tacos & Refried Beans Meal 5; Homemade Fish Sticks (Not Frozen store bought!)

& Here is my Shared recipe for the week!

One of my FAVORITE things about Christmas!! I’m not sure why I only see these made around Christmas time, but I don’t see them any other time of the year! My Grandma makes them all the time & I always eat way too many & get such bad heartburn! I’m not sure why, but chocolate & peanut butter together give me horrid heartburn!

Here’s what you need;

Crisped Rice Cereal

Peanut Butter

Butter

Powdered Sugar

Melting Chocolate!

I have everything but the melting chocolate, so I think I might go get some this week & make these this weekend! (Oh, I guess I’ll buy a bottle of Tums also LOL!)

Menu Monday

Menu Monday again! I am going to try so hard to consistently do this every week! It really helps that I can schedule posts, however, this one I just can’t seem to schedule, because I don’t know what we are going to be having that far ahead of time!

So I will just have to stick to doing this one maybe on Sunday’s! Ha! 

Monday; Baked Chili Dogs

Tuesday; Baked Pork Ranch Pork Chops

Wednesday; Ranch Hamburgers

Thursday; Burritos

Friday; Today is pay day for RC [and I as well from Thirty One so I'm sure we will go out to eat somewhere!]
