I love your take of the Twins on the Boderlands 3. I haven't played through alot of the game, yet. But I'm at Jacobs part. I agree that you can clearly see Troy on some sort of power high. He's more cocky and confident in himself that he was willing to confront us all on his own. He's so proud that he has his own power and he can make his own army.
(ahah I think you were referring to @border-spam on her reblogged comment I was just commenting on people who give the fans shit for overanalyzing his character but I’ll just answer to this so she can probably respond to this too I’m bad at words ;;;) Yeah, Troy has been pretty much the weaker one his whole life getting silenced and pushed around by Tyreen who was clearly the one in control; It’s been evident throughout the first half of the game up until the first vault. Despite them being siblings Troy has always been the powerless “burden” that Tyreen has to carry around. So when he finally gets that power he no longer feels like he can get stepped on by Ty, or by anyone else in that matter, he feels great. It's like a drug to him; he feels like he can do everything that he ever wanted that he was too weak to do before, and he pushes this confidence to a dangerous extreme.
