Updated my theme cause I noticed some stuff was broken, it should be all fixed now hopefully!
Might be opening up requests soon as well to get me practicing with random doodles and such.
Hand Update
Been a while since I’ve posted...and that’s cause there’s been 0 progress. 6 months later and still no diagnosis. I can barely get through a rough sketch anymore. I miss drawing and keep trying to push myself through it despite the pain. The pinky finger and ring finger on my left hand are partially numb now.
I’ve seen 4 doctors now. This last one said that he didn’t think it was my hands at all, but rather my shoulder or neck. I guess it’s getting somewhere at least.
I’m using CBD oil to try to soften the pain, and it does to a degree. Sadly it’s not 100% and it isn’t enough for me to draw a full sketch, let alone attempt to draw on my computer. I got a new art tablet last Christmas and haven’t bothered opening the box yet.
Doctors said if they can’t find what’s wrong I’ll be on disability for the rest of my life. I’m only 23 years old and already I could be screwed out of being able to work anywhere. My only hope is that they can at least find something to make the pain go away.
So I was about to start drawing and really burying myself in art..and then my wrists started to hurt. Went to the doctor and they think I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and might need surgery on my wrists.
Might be a while before I get to draw again, assuming that the surgery is successful.

Ok, I think I can draw again. I’ve been feeling better lately, and I think I can finally get back to the request log. However, I’m simplifying them down further.
They’ll be bust sketches, ya know shoulder and above sorta deal. I’ll color them in with my colored pencils but this way I can actually do them without spending 6 hours on each one. Which means I’ll be able to actually get through the list!
