Convention at Mermaid Lagoon

These are all photomanips, made from screencaps taken from "Peter Pan" (1953). I wonder if anyone can identify them all (without looking at the tags).

Now I realize, damn, I could've done this for Mermay. Then again, there can never be enough mermaids.

Fantasia Centaurs as Mermaids

These are photomanips made using screencaps from AnimationScreencaps.com. The top bodies are Centaurettes from "Fantasia" (1940). The Mermaid tails are from "Peter Pan" (1953). The two underwater backgrounds are from "Pinocchio" (1940).

Mermaid Glory

I saw someone on this site lament that there were no edits of Princess Glory from "Gulliver's Travels." I decided to fix that. I've long thought she'd make a good mermaid, with that pearl headband; but I had no idea! The screencap I used was from a night scene, which made her hair appear dark red. It's usually strawberry blonde, but she looks so fantastic with the red hair that I had to make more than one version. I ended up trying out a number of hair colors on her!

She rocks this color so well, due in no small part to her facial resemblance to Jessica Rabbit.

That blue one looks like Zev Bellringer from "Lexx!"

WIP: Fantasia mer-manip.

So frustrating, because this is almost perfect. So, so perfect. But the lines. The goddamn lines. They're too thin and smooth on the girl, and too thick and sketchy on the tail.

Mer-manips of a picture from Don Bluth's unmade arcade game, "The Sea Beast and Barnacle Bill." Had the game been made, it would be cool if every time you won, the mermaid you rescued was a different color scheme.
