Hold Your Breath

I've been enjoying my mer-jin boi, Kelpie, quite a bit lately. Though I haven't posted the most about him, I thought I'd take the time to use some motivation and doodle up more of him interacting with Zero!

Don't worry, Zero's mustered up trust in the guy ended up not being a bad choice. Here he's just experiencing a short moment of being underwater with Kelpie, holding his breath and staying as calm as he can be so that he can feel a full embrace ;)

Coaxing

I figured I may as well draw these two together, lol. I feel like Zero has met every OC I've made.... but I suppose it's because he's the first one I ever made, so it only feels right :)

I decided to doodle him encountering Kelpie because I've had the idea in my head for a bit :3

Here, we can see Kelpie attempting to "coax"/lure Zero into the deeper waters with him. Whether he's got dangerous intentions or not is up to anyone's imagination c;

Sunbathing

I wanted to doode more of this guy, so I drew this up last night. He’s actually pretty fun to draw!

Looks like a cinnamon roll and is a cinnamon roll: Zero, Ned, and Sunny.

Looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you: Kelpie.

Looks like they could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll: Crooks.

Looks like they could kill you and will/can actually kill you: Crooks again, lol (And maybe Kelpie as well, depending on how people see him ;P)

This guy is growing on me.... I'm gonna have to think of a name for him- I didn't expect myself to gain another OC child thanks to a Mer-jin idea post by @the-blueberry-jellyfish XD

Kelpie sees a young child who's wandered a small ways from their mother exploring the beach

He slowly swims close to the shore and inspects them from a distance before smiling and searching the water for a pretty shell

Quick and secretly, he tosses the shell on to the shore and gives a whistle to get the child's attention

After ducking under the water, the young child grins as they spot the unique shell, run to grab it, before happily going off to show their mother

Kelpie then peeks back out of the water, watching them with satisfaction
