I really like your writing, too, and your unpopular opinions. After the many things I’ve seen on tumblr, it’s really nice to see someone who still takes canons seriously and I appreciate it.But I’m sure the part that is left to your own interpretation is just as refreshing and thought-out, so don’t go questioning your muse all the time––

just because people don’t constantly tell you they love your muse, it doesn’t mean they don’t.Rememer, silence isn’t negative in itself. Silence can be comfortable, too.

and I’d really love to RP with you again, too, but.. our muses are both asocial jerks and we both don’t want to be OOC about it (which is a good thing, of course, but it’s making RPing difficult), so there most likely would have to be extensive plotting first and then again –– 47 isn’t meant to stay long with anyone, or talk to anyone.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: I honestly don’t know much about this character since I haven’t played his game (though I know what it is, vaguely) but from what I’ve seen he’s super cool.

How they play them: I don’t need to know shit about this character to realise how fucking amazing his person is at playing him. The amount of work they’ve put into him is tremendous, and I’m not gonna lie, I saw a post of theirs once saying they felt OOC and I was just “HOW?!?!” because I literally am afraid to send something in, they’re that good.

The Mun: Again, I don’t really know them - but they unwittingly helped me make a really cool theme (yes, those dumb-dumb anons were me!) and so I think they’re really great. Pleasure to see on my dash!

i’ve always seen hitman as a fascinating premise that is brutally kneecapped by the quality of its writing, worst of all in absolution but to some level in every game

and if all the studio wants to do is put out a good stealth title, you know, i guess that’s fine. be self-aware, know what you set out to make. but they’re playing with some potentially really powerful narrative tools, and they do seem uninterested in exploring them with any depth.

which is a shame, because there’s a lot. they’ve poked at political corruption and the ethics of human cloning, but they don’t take a stance on it. they could stop ignoring diana for a minute and make her a proper deuteragonist, and do subplots a la agent carter about the Man’s World Of Espionage.

but all you even have to start with is 47 being catholic. is it like thane in mass effect, where he sees his body as a tool? does he just not believe in hell or what? most importantly - and this is what I keep saying I wish they would get into - how does he remain so devoted to a religion that, let’s face it, probably doesn’t give clones the benefit of a soul? i mean. there is nothing for him here, apart from the kindness of one priest a few years ago.

with hitman there is always a thematic elephant in the room about personhood and free will and the circumstances of your birth, and how people who kill people can't really healthily live with people.
