Buenos Aires is full of small markets and street stands where u can buy nice souvenirs or excellent handmade things. Almost everyday u can go to a different area and enjoy of the colorful streets and all the interresting scenes u will find on every corner. Probably the biggest and most famous market is the sundays San Telmo Antiquidades market. Starting from the historic very important Plaza de Mayo with its presidential palast Casa Rosada, you can walk up the whole DEFENSA Street and get captured by the crowded streets. Vintage clothes, leather, jewelry , Antiquitades, old books and discs for cheep prices everywhere in this bohemian area of Buenos Aires. You can spend hours walking around the cobblestones street with its endless shops, bars and market stands. While the centre is quiet and empty the whole streets of San Telmo become alive and loud. Musicians and street artists everywhere. Even if u dont feel like buying anything, the nice atmosphere on the streets with all its different people that come togehter on a sunday is excelent and makes u feel the real spirit of BA and lets u disconnect for a few hours..The market finishes at aprox 6 o clock, but if u havent got enough many people continue on the eveneing market in the artistic area of Palermo..I was done for that day, so unfortunately I cant really say what it is like.
