          It was only a matter of TIME. 

             Jayce was adorable as far as Sarah was concerned, an unexpected… acquaintance she had grown rather fond of. He was sweet and polite and she had a soft spot for well behaved men who knew better than to leer. His company was fun, if amusing to her and his calm nature was usually quite the relaxing vacation for the captain ( she loved their crew, bless their hearts, but a little less excitement on board would do them just fine ). 

             With how friendly the inventor was, she expected the hug a lot sooner.

An amused smile played on her lips and as her arms retreated from the quick burst of intimacy she poked his sides. ❛ You’re adorable, but warn me next time. 33. Between shoulder blades

It was late in the office and Vi had come up with some sort of excuse to Caitlyn, giving her a phony reason to stay late in order to finish a few reports she had promised she’d get done in Cait’s place. Of course, the pinkette had long forgotten and they were to be submitted in the morning. Taking responsibility, she reluctantly remained in the office.

Problem was, it was boring. Very, very boring. Vi soon remembered why she didn’t want to do it in the first place. Every once in a while, she’d nod off asleep, jolting awake when he head fell from her hand in her snooze. Except something soft, felt like lips, grazed against the base of her neck, pressing between her shoulders for what seemed like a millisecond before pulling away. Stiffening, the enforcer immediately turned her head, prepared to lay what she’d refer as the “smack down” on her gentle assailant… only to see Jayce standing behind her. Red faced and every kind of confused, she blinked, expression soon appearing a combination of irritation and embarrassment.
