          “we need to stop meeting like this.” she reaches for her glasses, slowly taking it off before offering a somewhat genuine smile. looking at him, the ghoul can’t help but think about their fateful encounter. Their waltz, the exchanged giggles and thoughts... “people are going to talk.”

It seems fate would have it that if she wasn’t to be trapped in Library, then she was to be confined to another world. It felt strange to sit and enjoy the day. She had yet to fully comprehend that this was a world where she didn’t have to watch her back nearly as much; the war cries that filled her home has quieted, and she was left pondering her next course of action. Can she even fulfill her wish in this place? For once, the strange and eerie puppets were not here to guide ( though she hesitated to call upon their wicked assistance ) whose life she needed to take to advance.

And so, the life of the innocent cat in front of her was spared without much thought ( though she never intended to so brutally take it out ). And perhaps, in the midst of such absurdity, the rigid and ice-like figure allowed herself a smile.

“Oh! It’s you again.” The words aren’t annoyed, or much of anything. Requiem’s tone could best be described as neutral, if not bordering a bit on amused. “The fellow so enamored by, certain activities.” That neutrality floods into a grin, and her ruse appears to have been broken, interrupting her earlier activity of plucking at her viola strings, obviously in the act of trying to tune the troublesome instrument up. 

“What a sight you are again, my dear. And if you don’t mind, could I borrow your ear? If you’re any good with pitch, that is. If not, I’m sure I can find another use for you.”
