okay but how/where does one watch star trek discovery?? (in the U.S. at least)

in theory the only way to watch it is through CBS All Access, which is $5.99/month. Amazon lets you subscribe to it through their streaming service, which is what my sister and I have been doing. the price is the same, but there aren’t any commercials and i think Amazon’s video quality is more reliable.

it is available on Netflix in a lot of countries outside of the U.S., so if you have access to Netflix, you could try using a proxy? and then i guess there’s always torrenting. i hope that helps!

i LOVE the repetition and the cadence of the lines “And soon Sarek is ash, just ash and fragments of bone and charred metal and stone. And soon Sarek is an urn, placed in a temple. And soon Sarek is gone, sealed behind thick stone doors. And Spock is alone.” it stuck out to me so much (in a good way!!) when i was first reading it that i HAD to go back and reread it to fully appreciate the flow
