wait is the r+l=j thing official somehow or at least is there some evidenced supporting it cause i always thought it was just a fan theory? (i don't want jon to be king either personally i always thought they should just melt the iron throne and idk maybe go back to being the seven kingdoms)

No it's not official, but it might as well be, to be honest. It's all over Ned's POV chapters, little flags. Ned thinking about how he kept his vows right after he's thinking about how Robert breaks them. The discrepancy on who the woman he slept with is. He says it's a common woman, all the nobility think it's Ashara Dayne (even though the time line doesn't fit for that one at all.)  Lyanna died in a room smelling of blood. Rhaegar was obsessed with needing a third head for his dragon and his wife couldn't have any more children. All the consent throw backs to "promise me" especially after Ned thinks about the dead targaryen children.

This is one of those I will not be shocked even a little when it turns out to be true. 

And they should. Melt down the Iron Throne. Go to a democratically elected seven kingdoms. (Though honestly since they're not close to set up for democracy the main houses would still be in charge.) 

I mean the point is the game of thrones is terrible, so I don't think we'll see anyone on the Iron Throne. Or if they do it's because they rule the crownlands and have a soft spot for historical relics.

i always kinda thought that stannis 'rules are rules' speech is bullshit i mean he's all like 'the throne is mine by right' but he's conveniently forgetting that his brother has claimed the throne in an unlawful rebellion??? also he was ready to legitimize jon as a stark and give him winterfell even though jon took the vows because it suited his political agenda.

Well (and sometimes I think we forget this because the show is terrible about reminding us) Stannis does claim some of his power through bloodline. Not just Robert's, but the Targaryen bloodline. Which is how Robert made his claim. It was right of conquest, but they didn't draw straws to pick who sat on the throne at the end. Or even decide who would be the best king. Robert is 1/4 Targaryen so it fell to him.

To be fair he said choosing sides in the war was hard. His brother v his king, because he owed loyalty to each of them. Either way if you look at claiming the thrones in regards to being part Targaryen Stannis has a better claim then say - Joffrey because thinks (correctly) Joffrey is 100% Lannister.

Some people theorize that Stannis might actually be autistic. Which honestly when you think about his hyper literal focusing on "rules are rules" goes a long way to explaining his mentality about it. It's a fairly popular head canon with autistic fans, and even some not autistic fans.

How funny would it have been though if he had legitimized Jon, and then because R+L=J Jon has a better claim to the throne than him though? I mean funny haha to Stannis, not funny to me because I don't want Jon to be king.

True. And Dany wouldn't cut off part of your fingers because "rules are rules and I can't make exceptions Davos!" (Ironically Davos is one of two people who like Stannis.)

i don't really read snk but i'm sort of interested in the fandom mainly for the fandom memes so may i ask what did levi do?

oh um well basically one of the characters (Historia) was cast out of her family because she was an illegitimate child. Her Mom was murdered in front of her and she was sent to live in the army under a false name. Turns out she’s the rightful heir to the throne. Girl has a lot of issues with her identity, as she desperately tried to slip into her false identity and martyr herself so people would like her after being abused and hated for so long. The girl she’s in love with and who’s in love with her told her to live with herself before running off to protect her from the titans. Now Historia is like super torn up about said girl leaving her and not sure what to do.

Then Levi comes up and is like “HEY YOU HAVE TO BE QUEEN NOW AND BE OUR FIGUREHEAD”

and she gets freaked out like “what” and everyone’s freaked out like “what” and she’s like “that’s impossible for me though!”  (like this is just her kneejerk reaction, she wasn’t even given any time to let it sink in and she didn’t have it explained to her at all) and then Levi RANDOMLY FLIPS THE FUCK OUT and graps her and starts shaking her really hard screaming at her about humanity and I HAD TO PLAY A LOT OF ROLES EITHER FIGHT BACK OR ACCEPT IT  and the war and blablabla and everyones like “what the fuck” and finally she’s like “okay I’ll do it” and he drops her

and it’s just like wow. Mostly I’m really concerned about what it means for her honestly. I don’t want her to be forced into yet another role she doesn’t want. I want her to live for herself like Ymir said. And Levi is actively terrorizing her into not being able to do that. I don’t like it and it makes me not like him. The fact that some dude later said “lol I know people and that guy is really kind” also soured me. Don’t have your character do shitty things and then justify it by having some other character randomly say they’re ACTUALLY REALLY KIND!!! SO FORGIVE THEM!!! with no reasoning and expect the reader to accept that. It’s shitty writing and turns me against characters more often than not. 

also like, i have no idea what Levi’s fuckin’ backstory is but him equating himself to Historia sits badly with me because there’s a lot of gender issues with what she’s been through. I’m not reading that in, Isayama explicitly BOUGHT IT UP because a flashback had some other woman listing to Historia all the things girls specifically should be (kind, gentle, brave) and Historia’s response was “okay I get it i’m not acting like a girl I’ll be a perfect girl from now on”

so yeah sorry Levi you have no fuckin’ idea what she’s going through with the roles she’s been forced to play, you never had to play a role like this, it specifically has to do with expectations placed on women apparently you lose do not pass go.

1. of the fic you’ve written, which are you most proud of?

Currently the fic I’m more proud of is Legacy, which unfortunately doesn’t have much feedback. Understandably, since it’s a Claudia+Stiles angsty piece with more warnings than the whole of AO3.5. what inspires you to write?

I… Ugh, I hate this type of questions. I don’t know, I don’t have a muse, per se. I guess I write what I wish I could read. I’m a firm believer that if you want anything well done, you have to do it yourself.
