Bit of a rant guys… But I feel like strangling something…
Growing up I always joked about being in Slytherin, but knew I best fit in Gryffindor. A few months ago, right before my high school graduation, I decided to go on Pottermore and find out officially what I really was. After taking the test and answering to my honest beliefs, the results came in.
Slytherin. To be honest I was upset, at first. It took a month or so for me to accept my house and begin to see that it was true. There was a secondary test and it showed the percentages in the answers for each house.
Slytherin- 87%
Gryffindor- 56%
Ravenclaw- 54%
Hufflepuff- 12%
Finally, 6 months later, I’m a proud Snake! We aren’t bad people, not the bad guys, and not self absorbed! I will continue to argue with anyone who believes so. But as life became better for me I found a problem in my great-going life, my family.
Siblings constantly make fun of me saying “oh we always knew you were evil!”, but I can handle that, don’t exactly care what they think. The biggest problem is my cousin who is only a few months younger than I am. She used to think she was always a Snake as well, just as little kids, but once she found out I was truly a Snake she threw a bit of a fit. Not in a sense that you would think though.
She, plainly, is a self absorbed girl. Anyways believing that she is the prettiest in the room, best one on stage, and that all eyes should always be on her. The way she threw her fit was she began bring it up constantly that every decision she was making was because she was in Slytherin. So now there is a self-loving person, who hasn’t taken the test, out there in the world making my house look bad!She won’t take the test and even if she did she would lie just so she could be right.
Agh! Anyways I’m done. I’ll make sure to post it if I end up smothering her in her sleep.
