anyway do u guys remember in greys anatomy season 2 episode 14 when meredith gives derek and addison her dog, meredith hands addison the leash and their hands brush against eachother? and how meredith thanks her because it’s “a lot to ask” and addison says (in voice that in my head is distinctly “addie” and not “doctor montgomery (-shepherd)”) that it’s alright because it’s just a dog? anyway i know it’s like a two second interaction but there’s something about the look in meredith’s eyes and the sound of addison’s voice that makes me go fucking nuts. like, meredith looks so bewildered at how soft addison can sound when she’s not busy being Intimidating Surgical Attending or Scary Surprise Wife. idk if i’m even making any sense. they’ve soupified my brain. ughhhhh.
