The whole town was in chaos, there were cries of sorrow, tear being shed, he had tried to help as best as he could, until he read the announcement, not only was half his family gone, but his greatest fear had come to pass.

Instead of running to HQ like he knew he should, Rob had ran to his town apartment. He was inside and before he knew he was trashing the previously pristine place, breaking things, screaming, and finally the tears came. It was his fault, he had brought this upon them.

It was as if he could still see her, flaming hair and all, she was there, "I'm sorry ... I'm so sorry..."

Because what’s the point in them being happy now if you know they’re going to be sad later? The answer is of course, because they are going to be sad later.

It had been a peaceful morning for Isabelle, even if she had woken up with a feeling that something was looming in the horizon, waiting to take them by surprise. The feeling had been shaken and she had gotten on with her normal routine before work. After picking some pastries from the bakery and greeting some of the shop owners, Belle had opened the shop and put the kettle on the stove.

She had made a few sales, the business was not blooming but they were making more than enough for taxes and all their other needs, she couldn't be happier. After the last sale Belle had dusted the drapes and re-fluffed the cushions of the waiting sofa, cleaned the high length mirror and was now organizing their catalogs. She felt that if she stopped moving the feeling of dread will come and invade her, she had to keep busy. It was in the middle of a big sigh that she heard the doorbell chime.
