The Emolga graciously accepted the ice cream as she turned over to the Raichu, who seemed to be... hiding? And a little shaken.

“Heeey now, what’s the matter? You look like you know this guy or something? ... Oooh, you know what! I got a fun idea!”

“C’mon, let’s see that spark! Wait, spunk, I meant spunk! ... Well, both work, hehe! The more the merrier~!”

Kari pulled her hands away into a soft clasp, looking up at Merick once the Gallade had settled down. Now that there was peace, or at least as much of it as possible, the Audino invited him a little further into the tree hollow for some privacy before turning to the green blade with a tender look, with an equally tranquil, coaxing voice, as to not disturb Momoko. She’s hoping this’ll convince Merick to keep his voice down to the same level.

“Momoko will be okay... soon enough,” she whispered before continuing.

“Tell me everything. I won’t scold you, okay, nene? I’m sure whatever you say, it’s not your fault...”

“While your offering of shelter is appreciated, I must decline. I do not wish to bring my troubles upon the innocent, lest you become another target of my pursuers for trying to hide me from them, or worse, be stricken down as well.

Mary: I can tell you two things though.

First, you have a strong will and are a very handsome Gallade, your aura tells me that, but I’d still snap you like a stick and lay you out for my own pleasure, if I had it my way. 

Second, I won’t do that because the two that make this form are kind-hearted people.
