ROYAL VISIT OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN FREYA I. By command of the Queen, the Earl Marshal is directed to invite YOU to be present at High Rock.
HEAR YE, HEAR YE!
❝ although the death of our great king oddo the kind still weighs on our hearts, may he rest in peace, it is time for our kingdom to turn a new page and after welcoming a new ruler into its heart. it’s time to show the new queen to the whole kingdom and celebrate her beauty and just ruling with feasts all around the kingdom. with a house and heart that serves its people with great passion, it’s with happy ease that we announce that king oddo’s eldest daughter will be visiting every region in the kingdom. following her visit to nibenay, she will head to high rock and pay a royal visit to everyone in the region. everyone is welcome to come pay their respects to their queen, noble or otherwise. everyone is welcome to attend and not miss an opportunity to see their queen, no matter where one is from. ❞
the admins thought it was a good idea to start the roleplay with an event that would bring everyone together. so, what better way to start than with the visitation of the queen? the queen will be arriving at high rock and will be greeted by low borns and nobles alike and everyone is going to have a good reason to interact with everyone. all commoners have been invited to hang at high rock’s castle’s courtyard. in the evening, there will be a feast inside the high rock castle for the nobles, where the hawtrey family lives, and another feast outside for the commoners though the nobles are free to roam in and out.
below, you will find the details about the timespan of the event, along with the tags that will be needing a little extra attention during the event. all characters are welcome to attend the celebration/feast, though keep in mind that the difference between social classes will still be observed (ie. servants & non-humans won’t have the same experience nor the same available food and entertainment as nobles have). keep in mind some servants will be working during the feast, though they’re free to enjoy their own feast in the downtime.
the setting of the event will be around the time of the feast, meaning that the arrival ceremony itself won’t be roleplayable but it can be used as a conversation topic. the event will start a couple of hours after the queen’s arrival, during the feast. nobles and their closest servants (personal maids, ladies-in-waiting, etc.) will be staying at the high rock castle and guest rooms. any commoners that want to be part of the fest must find their own accomodations.
