#MerMay came early this year besties 😤😤 I present to y’all PART ONE of the 7 Sons of Triton in my TD little mermaid au with Alejandro as Ariel. Also I went with inspo from the live action’s designs, but with each character’s own flavour. It made sense given the diversity of the new sisters and the diversity of TD’s characters. Also to choose his “brothers,” I went with characters Al has the most positive interaction with (take that with a grain of salt…) either canon or in the fandom (this is more obvious in part two). Anybody who wants to dabble in adding to this au are very much welcome to, show these mermen some love 💗

So as consistent with lore of the live action little mermaid, we have:

Prince Alejandro of the Carinae Sea

Prince Duncan of the Chaine Sea

Prince Scott of the Saithe Sea

And Prince Lightning of the Fracus Sea
