How good are mer joseph and caesar and santana at crawling on land?

Well, ranking the best at doing this for the worst, I would say that Santana would come first as he has more strength in his arms and crawls on the ground longer than other mermans (He even manages to lift his lower body to avoid getting hurt on rough ground. )

Second, I would say that Joseph. He's more adventurous and can adapt quickly to things, but... he's a bit clumsy and slower than Santana.

And lastly, of course, Ceasar. Due to previous asks I came to a consensus that Ceasar was before human and became a merman, already in adulthood, and with that he doesn't have much habit of crawling. He actually sucks at this and it can take hours to get to a place that's only a few meters away, so...well...he might miss his legs sometimes.

How would mer Santana and mer Joseph and Caesar react to each other? The reader hugs Santana on the beach and Joseph and Caesar crawl up to them?

Geez...it's always complicated when Santana meets Joseph,(actually it's when Santana meets anyone other than Y/n) He's clearly not the most sociable of the mermans, but Joseph awakens something in the redhead that makes him crave violence. With Ceasar, it's somewhat less violent, but Santana tends to avoid him. They would be the kind of people who could be put in an empty room across from each other and spend hours not saying a word just staring at each other, (Ceasar would probably leave as he knows Santana is unpredictable, like Joseph but in a more menacing way.)

Merman Joseph has such a great time in the halloween party in town that the next time around he brings Caesar along. Caesar: "Of course I know what halloween is, I used to be human, remember?"

Dinner with friends.

It was almost dinner time, everything was ready, table, cutlery, food mainly, since your friend Ceasar had returned after missing months, you wanted to do something special to celebrate his return. He was "a little" different now, but he seemed happy with his new life. You said you were going to the beach to get it, but all of a sudden you hear noises of wet flaps hitting the floor, and when you open the door you almost get startled to see two mermen outside your house, one excited and the other half angry and somewhat embarrassed at the way the other was acting, the latter being Ceasar, who had brought Jojo with him.

Ceasar: Sorry about that, I wanted to surprise you, and he wanted to see the land and followed me here.

Y/n: "No problem, it's okay.Come on in!"

You assured Ceasar that it wasn't a nuisance and the merman gave you a smile of thanks. Joseph crawls through the living room, and is impressed by the smooth floor that made him glide better.

There were many things that caught Joseph's attention but one that caught his curiosity was the TV that the merman had referred to as a "metal box with a mirror". You turn on the TV and when joseph sees it at first he is fascinated with the image show, Moana was playing and Joseph for a while couldn't take his eyes off the TV, until you and Ceasar called him for dinner. With everything on the table, you asked if Joseph needed help to climb into the chair, but apparently the merman was adjusting with the seat, leaving you to help Cesar who still didn't have much strength to support himself with just his arms on the chair. Joseph saw you and Ceasar use the cutlery to eat so he tried to copy the action of you two, but he ended up accidentally throwing his fork and almost hitting Ceasar's head, who sighed being irritated but understood that it was just an accident.

Y/n: it's ok Jojo, you can reach the food with your hand if you feel like it. But be careful, it might be a little hot.

Joseph nods his head and before taking the food he blows on it and then takes a bite. At first he thinks the texture is strange but when the delicious taste explodes in his mouth he is not content and eats very quickly, leaving nothing left in the your plate. You are more than happy to see that Joseph loved your food, and even asking for more.

Ceasar: I have to agree with him Y/n, the food you make has improved since the last time you cooked for Grandpa and me.

Y/n blushes embarrassed when she remembers the time she almost let the fish she was cooking burn, and ended up with a horrible taste. Lucky for you Mr Zepelli taught you more about cooking, and you got the hang of it over time.

Y/n: Haha, thanks...

The three continue to gossip all night long, and for the first time in a while, Ceasar feels at home again, enjoying the time he spends with his friends.

I have a head canon that the mer! Kars can control any kind of marine life, so imagine he gets Aja's red pearls that allow him to "walk" in sunlight, and now that he summons the Kraken to destroy the island where Y/n the Mermen Joestar, Ceasar and Santana (who was only there for Y/n) live and were fighting to protect from this catastrophe.

Caesar was not an enthusiast of this type of celebration, but he knew that Joseph had never seen fireworks before. Joseph was really excited for the event even though Y/n couldn't be there with them because she needed to be with the damn "grumpy redhead". After the event, as some people were starting to approach the hill, they both had to jump into the water to avoid being seen, and there they ended up meeting their other mer folks who were also admiring the beauty of the fireworks and celebrating the passing of one more year.
