Absolutely obsessed with the mermic AU. Do other mermaid hunters ever come around after the first ones are scared off? Like, if word got around that they almost got one, would others want to test their luck and go looking? Aizawa's gotta return to telling people to get the fuck out of his waters while also being extra uneasy about the thought of Mic (or Midnight) getting killed, especially with how frequently Mic comes by to visit.
