today I start my second course of the semester, a course on children’s lit! I am super excited for this one, since my specialisation is literature for young people and this is actually the first course on the subject that my university has provided! I can’t wait to dive in.

last monday my second semester kicked off! I had my first lecture for a course on “The Global Imagination” and now I’m really excited to get started. 

I think I can summarise this course with a quote from the lecture:

student, about to start summarising his observations on an article: I’ll try to keep it short and painless.

lecturer: not painless. we’re not here for painless.

I think that, to get a little more invested in this blog in the midst of my mental health issues, I’m going to shake things up a little and reblog all my general positivity post onto here as well to make it just a tiny dot of positivity in my tumblr world!!
