I'd like to think that even while the thought of potentially dying in many different ways looms over him, Avery still chooses to make sure others are okay before checking in with himself.
I'd also like to think that even as his life is falling apart around him Ritter chooses to move on, if it means he can help Avery avoid the same fate.
I really don’t think Doctor Who is ever gonna top the image of the 12th Doctor striding away from Gallifrey, coat absolutely eating the wind, sunglasses perfectly perched on his face, one hand casually holding an electric guitar.
This is probably futile, but I want to remind C2 fans, ahead of the Mighty Nein animated show coming out, if your instinct is to think “this plot point would be confusing without knowing all of the background I have from the campaign, I’m going to make sure show only people know!” please consider:
1) it’s actually not confusing at all without context, it’s just it’s hard not to think that because the context you have is informing how you view it
2) the show might be setting something up for suspense or mystery for new viewers and they will have a worse experience if you try to “explain” it to them instead of letting it play out
You do not have to “um actually” cartoon only viewers experience of a show with your experience of the campaign.
