So yeah... Toad calls the Blooper a “Bloober Octopus”, while I can forgive him calling the Blooper a Bloober, because for a long time Mario Lore would flip flop on whether they were called Bloopers or Bloobers.

But... Octopus?  I think anyone with a reasonable intelligence can tell that that’s a squid, Toad, not an Octopus.
