Hm well I only have a couple vore-ish ocs, and I've never really introduced them ^,...,^' so this is gonna be a bit out of nowhere
Saphera the dragon (no relation to eragon) likes to start out small, then slowly grow larger, letting the prey know they're way out of their league. She uses her tail to hold and squish and trap them. Her claws are very sharp and showy, perfect for threatening and pinning prey. Once the prey is in, she has control over her internal temperature. This can be used for comfort but can also be used to make them squirm and sweat and threaten incineration!
Cas n Avi, my tailmouth have different MOs. Cas, the mouthtail, uses the element of surprise. It's got quite a large mouth, and a long tapered tongue to taste and play with its prey. It usually goes for things as big as itself, often with the help of Avi.
Avi on the other hand is very giggly and lighthearted, even as she enacts and threatens cruelty. She favors small prey that she can manhandle and toy with while giving lots of licks and nips. She may use Cas to tease and surprise prey by brushing it against them and letting it sneak in a surprise lick while looking like a normal tail.
Sab, my sabretoothed fox, uses their intimidating appearance. They may lick their prey while they're trapped between/by their fangs. However, they're quite a softie, so its usually a bluff/accidental before they tuck the prey in their pouch!
