Isabela whistled as she walked through Lowtown. She took the steps two by two, weaving in and out of Lowtown's locals. It had been a while since she and Merrill last spoke, so she was headed for the elf's home in the Alienage. Besides how long it had been, Isabela had found something that she thought Merrill would be interested in, and she wanted to share.
She jumped the steps leading down to the Alienage, not wanting to waste the time of taking every step. Practically bounding across the small courtyard, Isabela stopped at Merrill's door and knocked three times quickly, swaying slightly to some nonexistent music.

I don’t think you would like ‘normal’ people very much, Fenris. They aren’t very kind. Or understanding. Or smart, either, usually. In fact, they’re quite brutish.
I think I know more about normal people than you. I would still prefer them over meeting so many mages.
