oh yeah! so, at the end of the movie like 3 - 5 minutes till the credits started rolling.THE FUCKING LIGHTS CAME ON IN THE THEATER! I wanted to scream.

Balin's Spiced Beef

this is what i'm making for dinner tomorrow night!

In a big bowl put: 4-5 lb. chuck, shoulder or round roast 

covered with...  Dry red wine  Apple juice or cider  One or two sliced white onions  (sadly i didn't have any onions so these weren't included) 1/2 a bay leaf  1 tsp. each of cinnamon and allspice  1/2 t. cloves  1 1/2 t. salt  1 t. pepper 

Cover and let marinate in the fridge 12 hrs. or more. Drain and reserve marinade. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.  Put meat in a roasting pan, heat half the marinade to boiling and pour it over along with about a cup of boiling water. Cover and simmer in the oven for about 3 hours.  If you like, you can add carrot chunks, sliced turnip and potato an hour before its done. You can thicken the sauce like gravy, or have it au jus. Serve with roasted veggies, or noodles, or rice. Good hot or cold.

following in casey's shoes, I'm really sick of being alone. like I have my friends, but it's not the same. and I am also way sadder lately than I have been my entire life but I have nothing to be sad about?? other than being lonely. idk :/

aw amy amy amy ily :(( i'm sorry you're sad and lonely omg that's never any fun and i wish i could send you lots of love and hugs and star trek merchandise to make you feel better because you're such a good person and you don't deserve this sadness like you really really don't 

sometimes sadness comes in phases though and hopefully it'll end soon and you'll go back to how you normally are (which is hopefully less sad) 

and this is cheesy but i'm a firm believer in there being someone out there for everyone so you just need to find each other but it'll happen. i really, really believe it will 

just know i love you. i know that probably isn't enough, but it's something. i'm here for you and the tumblr community is here for you as well, i'm sure
