Hey Jooj! So, you are my FAVORITE in this world. I've been working on designing a Regency-era world. While, after 1 year, I am only about a quarter done, I wanted to know if you know anything about sharing the CC and lots created by other artists when I publish my world. I am really hoping to make this world available to other Regency-lovers when I am done with it. I am willing to design buildings from scratch but I was hoping to cut some time off (continued in next question)

Firstly, thank you so so muchhh! Messages like these are the reason why I keep myself determined to do these conversions! 💐 💐 💖 And this world sounds so cool!!
I’m not sure if you have already choose what cc and lots you want in your world, or if you are going to search for them and add them as you build the world, but in any case my advice would be for you to:
1. Whether it’s on Tumblr, TSR, or any other website, look for “Terms of Use” (or TOU), because it’s where most creators put what is allowed and what is not allowed to do with their creations! It can be on a post, if it’s a Tumblr blog, could be in the description if it’s on TSR, etc. If it’s not stated if you can use their cc on your own stuff (something like “Including mesh is allowed”):
2. Check if the creator of the cc/lot is still online and making stuff. If that person has retired from the community and does not make anything else for the game for quite some time, I believe you can use them! As they (probably) don’t even play the game anymore, they don’t really care about it! Still credit them tho, it’s important!
3.If that person doesn’t make CC for the sims 3 anymore, but does for ts4 tho, I’d still ask if it’s okay to add them, to keep it safe, because you never know!
4. If the creator of the cc/lot you want to add is still online and making cc for ts3, again, I’d send a message to them (tumblr, e-mail, anything) asking if it would be okay to add it to the world with all the credits due to them. Just wait for a response then!
I know that sounds really extensive and boring (though you can always copy-paste lol), but getting their permissions is a very big relief, in the very unstable valley it is simblr right now lol!
From me, you can absolutely add my conversions to the world if you desire, just give the credit when needed!
