Drabble for Snakeofathief
As Akefia swam through the seas he was met by many other merfolk who he had found wee not of his kind but know what he was, a mershark- it a shark as he preferred. they were all afraid of him and swam away when he could show up. Over his travels had he gathered many jewels and gems, gold an diamonds, anything he thought pretty and he could get his hands on. Over his travels he had found a large city called Atlantis that with just was just near by a few sunken ships where he had set refuge. More and more he had learned and stole from the city. He learned that the place that held the most gold and pretties was the palace. He knew little of the king but he had heard he was a friendly merman, not that he cared. But the king had a prince who was to leave the palace to go to another kingdom to talk about peace of sorts. Hardly had the boy been out of the city- let alone his own home! But today he was going to see the male that everyone was so excited to see. Hearing loud cheers from the kingdom the mershark lifted his head just as the gate doors opened to reveal two guards with...the most pretties boy he had ever seen. Between the guards was a white haired merboy with a golden and sapphire crown resting on his head. His long tail was a sapphire in color and it shimmered with the light that shined through the waters around them. The boy actually looked miserable, I mean really? Who wouldn't be of they were trapped in their own home? "Hey you!" Snapping from his musing Akefia looked to the guards as they held up their weapons. "Who are you?!" Akefia watched them dully as he raised an eyebrow. He was doing no harm and now they are acting like he is? Turning his attention to the prince, he watched as the pale merboy started to back up without the guards even noticing a thing. "Well my fair gentlemen, I am the greatest thief around!" He laughed as he shot forward to them, quickly dodging them before he grabbed the prince and took off laughing. "Prince Ryou!" The guards yelled, "So your name is Ryou huh princy?" Akefia asked as he looked down at the boy in his arms. "Y-Yes, that's my name." Ryou spoke as his voice seemed to ring slightly. "Ah your voice is beautiful! Don't you ever get out little princy?" Akefia asked with a soft coo. Ryou shook his head slightly as he looked up to the other. "I am hardly ever allowed out of the city, let alone the palace." He mumbled softly as he looked around. Akefia stared down at the prince before he started swimming up to the surface when he thought they were close enough to land. Once they broke the surface the shark pouted to the sandy land. "That is what your missing pretty..." Ryou stared in shock at the land ahead of them, watching the humans playing on the beach. "Well come now princy, the guards are gunna get me if I don't give you back." Akefia sighed as he lowered them back into the waters. "Wait, please tell me your name." Ryou spoke a he looked up to Akefia just as he was let go. A silly smirk instantly played over Akefia's face as e brought Ryou close. "My name is Akefia, King of the Thieves." With that Akefia crushed their lips together, making Ryou squeak in surprise before he slowly relaxed. Ryou responded to the kiss eagerly before they were interiors by the sound of the guards yelling for him. Pulling back Akefia grinned down at the Prince in his arms. "Well this is where we part my pretty." Akefia grinned before he let him go an bolted away from Ryou and swam away, leaving Ryou to be taken by the guards and back into the city. But he knew he would see the boy again, he knew now Ryou wouldn't wish to be cooped up and Akefia knew Ryou would want to see him again..
