May 25th, I attended poet Meryvn Taylor's book launch party for his latest poetry book "Voices Carry" at the Cornelia Street Cafe in Greenwich Village, NYC. Music and poetry permeated the intimate basement space, conveying the ambiance of the Greenwich Village of old, which was once the mecca for writers, musicians and artists.
