WIP of the walk cycle for my portfolio. Rig is from the Mery Project. Walks are the basics of animation, and even if it’s “boring”, it’s needed to help show the basics of animation.

I’ve recently discovered the 11 Second Animation Club and its monthly competition of animating a random piece of dialogue.
I thought I’d give this month’s dialogue a try for fun, and animate just a few seconds to see what I can do at the moment.
I never properly appreciated how challenging lip syncing could be, especially with quick dialogue. Probably was too early for me to try it, but I gave it a shot and learnt some new tricks too, so no regrets!

I started this for freaking ever ago, finally got it done! Onto the next! Mery Rig: http://www.meryproject.com/
Update on this shot. Still needs some work.
Do you have any advices?

Hi! Something different today 'cause it's not an illustration but some 3D animations! :)
This is my final version of my animation demo reel for 2015. I recently finished my computer animation degree at Full Sail University and I can say I am proud and fortunate to have gone through this program. Art and animation has always been a passion of mine and I am glad to pursue this passion and I hope to make people laugh and smile through my work.
wow I think this is the first time my animation hasn't immediately looked like shit the second I switched from stepped to spline
1st spline pass, needs a lot of tweaks to the poses still tbh. Gonna do the hair last.
I finished my animation final, and I'm not totally ashamed of it, woo! Made using the Mery Project in Maya 2015.
