As I walk around downtown Mesa and talk to neighbors and business owners I just keep hearing the same thing, “I got 3 code violations for xxx, xxx, and xxx. I’ve been here for X years and never had any issues” most, if not all, of these micro-businesses are renters and in pandemic mode.
